Every now and then, Care for Children gets involved with a 'Special Project'. Although Outside of original plans,
it will still be related to the ongoing National Foster Care Project.
The latest such project is the 'De Yang Rebuilding Project' in Sichuan following the devastating earthquake in
May 2008. Care for Children has agreed to support half of the costs related to the building of a new
'Foster Care Training & Special Education Needs Centre'.
We plan to use this new building as a replication of our training centre in Beijing, and encourage and support
'excellence' in foster care practice and special education needs in and around central China.
