Training Materials Review - REPORT

Care for Children is currently reviewing and updating all of their training programs, courses and resources. Through this process, Care for Children will improve the quality of training delivered to orphanage staff; further develop and improve the resources available to orphanages; ensure that training which is delivered is up to date, targeted and needs based; and provide further guidance and support around data collection and evaluation for individual orphanages to use.

A consultation board was held on May 10-14^th, 2010, made up of representatives from Care for Children, orphanage directors and CSWA staff who reviewed the current training materials and made decisions on the contents of the new training program and resources. Following these decisions, Care for Children staff will then develop new resources, courses and training programs which will commence from July 2010.
