Roberts Big 60 Challenge
22 December 2016

Care for Children Founder and Executive Director Robert Glover recently accepted the challenge of a life-time to raise funds to send Clayton and Kelly Green to Hanoi in March 2017, with the purpose of starting a new Care for Children project in Vietnam.

In partnership with the Vietnamese Government Care for Children will train Vietnamese Social Workers to become Family Placement Workers. Care for Children have partnered with the Chinese Government since 1998 and the Thai Government since 2012 delivering similar projects which have seen over 350,000 children moved from institutional care into local families during this time.

On 22th December Robert successfully completed his Big 60 Challenge which involved the following six tasks:
Cycling 60 kilometres
Swimming in the sea for 60 seconds
Running 60 yards
Completing 60 sit ups
Eating 60 cockles
Blowing out 60 candles

A huge well done to Robert for completing this impressive challenge. Haven’t had a chance to donate yet? Don’t worry, there’s still time! Click below to make your donation.
